From Space/Sci-Fi themes to dark and paranormal zombie soundtracks, Portal Dementia explores the unknown, ghostly aliens, and futuristic seeds planted in the human condition. (sets include" "Spaceship Saturn: A Celebration of Sun Ra's Original Arrival,"Dark Light Within Realms of the Unknowing" and a very special set -- "Finding Out What We've All Lost and Found Forever."

Born out of the basement of a church in January 2000 in the backwoods of Bugtussel, Alabama, three upstanding young gentlemen, Adam Callaway, Todd Willoughby and Peter Tubbs, decided to form Selling Mary after meeting years before at a local marching band clinic.
Selling Mary quickly established a sizable, loyal following. The band picked up Clay Gaddis, a talented guitarist in late 2004 and in 2006, added seasoned bassist, Aaron Brook, to the fray. Selling Mary has had substantial success including occupying a prime-time spot on the City Stage’s Homegrown Stage 2006, then on the Miller-Lite Stage 2007 opening for Poison and Ratt. The group has also opened for Korn, Hell Yeah, Flyleaf, 12 Stones, Rehab, and many more. After a decade of extensive experience and after recording several EP’s, Selling Mary released a full length, twelve-song album, “A Method of Going Broke”, in late 2009. One can expect a diverse and interesting sound from Selling Mary since the band pulls from many genres to create a unique mix of classic rock, jazz, metal, and funk crossed with a definite southern swagger. When you come to a Selling Mary show, you can expect a top-notch performance and a killer time with a band that lives to rock. Website: http://www.myspace.com/sellingmary |
