Friday, May 21

4:00PM  "Boldly Returning" The new movie, the new continuity...wow. Just wow. Love it or hate it, join this discussion with a panel of hardcore Trek fans and let your opinion be heard and hear those of others!


7:00PM  "Where for art thou, TNG?" with Lee Shackleford.  Where does the new continuity leave your favorite Next Gen stories and continuity? Do they still count? Will they be recast? Do you want them to? Join Lee Shackleford, take a seat and let's find out...

10:00AM  "Writing In The Final Frontier" with Lee Shackleford.  Lee Shackleford is prolific writer and 21st century artisan who has given us some great Trek stories and benefited sci fi and art in general with everything he has been involved with. Come celebrate the Talent of Lee Shackleford in this panel. He may even give you a few tips for your own stories!


11:00AM "Very Very Rodenberry" with Lee Shackleford.  Join Lee Shackleford for a review of the life and works both grand and controversial of this visionary.


1:00PM "Living Long and Prospering" with Lee Shackleford.  What Trek Philosophies and life lessons hold up in reality and can those help you be happier and healthier? Join Dr. Noah Lett and Lee Shackleford for an in depth discussion.


2:00PM  "Trek Blooper Review" Join us for a compilation of Trek bloopers spanning 11 movies and 5 TV Series...set Phasers to Fun!


4:00PM "Son of Trek" with Lee Shackleford, MarkAdam Miller, Steve Charleson.  Star Wars, Babylon Five, Firefly, Battlestar...throw a rock and you will hit a sci-fi series that owes something to Star Trek Blazing the way. Join Lee Shackleford, MarkAdam Millerand Steve Charleson as we compare and contrast as well as define what qualities of all these modern pieces owe to Captain Kirk and Company.


5:00PM  "Collector Trek" Come talk about your collection of Trek memorabilia with other collectors and learn what may yet be out there for you to put your grubby lil Antican Paws on.


7:00PM  "Get Your Ship Together" with Steve Charleson.  Enterprise NX,Original, A,B,C,D,E and now the New Continuity Ship...Would it work in reality? Why and why not and how? What is feasible, and how does it work in the Trek universe. Aerospace Engineer Steve Charleson goes over the details deck by deck.

Lee Shackleford- Can lay claim to no less than 150 produced scripts…not the least of which have been episodes for Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Steve Charleson- Aeorspace Engineer and extreme Trek fan here to answer a few Trek spec questions. Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering
• Eight years experience in aircraft interior design and modification, including commercial and VIP aircraft.
• Six years experience in managing FAA STC certification projects.
• Seven years of experience with FAA flammability certification and testing, including the development of test plans and reports.
• Eight years experience in material and process development; including the development of process specifications and design standards; the development of tests for determining material properties in use conditions.

• Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering
• Project engineering experience, since 2000 and Structure Manager since 2007.
• Analysis and design of various types of repairs and modifications to aircraft structures.
• Finite Element Analysis and modeling using NASTRAN and COSMOS.
• Experience in structural analysis and design of aircraft interior components such as aircraft cabinet structures.
• Experience in installations of audio/video equipment, avionics equipment, antennas, etc.
